Historical Designing  

 

The students will –

 

CO23: Use knowledge of the history of jewellery, its production, design, social context and function to design jewellery of different historical periods.

CO24: Relate the history and the cultural aspects of various historical periods with  jewellery design and metal smoothing.

Approach in teaching:

Interactive Practical Sessions, problem solving exercises, Demonstrations, Giving tasks, Field practical, Workshop, Laboratory industry visits, Group and Team Work
