PROGRAMME SPECIFIC OUTCOMES

PSO 1

Encourage the development of  intellectual and imaginative powers, creativity, independence, critical self-awareness, imagination and skills that will enhance global emPSOyment opportunities

Identify and assess the functional, technical, visual, concrete and decorative characteristics of jewellery materials.

PSO 3

Apply the factors & principles relevant to Jewellery product design eg concept, ergonomics, form, function, historic, aesthetics, trends, end user, lifespan, materials,  costing, level of metal decorations, testing, sustainability.

PSO 4

Create a design-thinking roadmap and  apply advanced specialist skills required to develop and generate both the technical design and construct small prototype models by hand and create a 3D software rendering of jewellery;

Articulate understanding of the traditional Indian jewellery and contemporary jewellery and its demand in industries .

Evaluate the properties and performance of jewellery-making with different materials, including gems and other stones and different properties of gemstones which will be helpful in their identification, precious metals, alloys and nonmetallic materials.

Create a design-thinking roadmap and  apply advanced specialist skills required to develop and generate both the technical design and construct small prototype models by hand and create a 3D software rendering of jewellery;
