Course Objectives:
This course will enable the students to –
- To be introduced to the types of wires and beads available to jewellery makers.
- To gain an understanding of the function of different wires and findings and gain skills in using the main tools for wire and bead jewellery.
- To enable students awareness of importance of designing for sustainability.
- To provide knowledge of current sustainable technologies, materials and design innovation.

Student will be able to: CO8: Understand the history and the cultural aspects of jewellery design. CO9: Create beading jewellery with use of thread, findings and beads. CO10: Learn all the phases of Eco - fashion jewellery making using scrap material along with shilpkar, beads, wood, Hook, Findings, Gem Stones. CO11: Commercialize beading art and open new boundaries for job seekers. |
