Objective:
To enhance the skills of the formation of gemstones, their crystal system, physical, optical & chemical properties-Study of 4 ‘C’s of diamonds, Use of various Gemology instruments.

Uses of various instruments
- Refract meter, Polariscope, Microscope, Spectroscope, Ultraviolet lamp , Hardness pencil , Diamond probe, Chelsa filter, 10x lens. MM Watch, optimizer, sieve etc

Identification, Sorting And Grading Of Stones
- rough and polished gems
- Synthetic and stimulant gems,
- Absorption Spectrum.
- Defects in gem minerals
- flaws and inclusions.
- Recognize the color, clarity and cut grading criteria of gemstones

- natural and synthetic diamond,

- Inclusions in Diamond and their significance
- Survey of Gemstones(Project) 30 Hrs.
