CO120: Develop students' research skills, analytical abilities, and knowledge base in understanding the complexities and dynamics of the gems and jewellery sector, enabling them to critically evaluate and present findings through both oral presentations and written reports in the form of dissertation.

CO121: Compile comprehensive report detailing plans related to jewellery design across diverse institutional settings and cultivate verbal communication skills to converse effectively with examiners through presentations.

CO122: Contribute effectively in course-specific interaction.

Approach in teaching: Interactive Practical Sessions, Theme board, Demonstrations, giving tasks, Field practical, inspiration board, Workshop, Laboratory industry visits, Group and Team work

Make a dissertation on the current and emerging issues and trends in the discipline

With emphasize on the research & in-depth study on any topics related to gems and Jewellery world.

 

Guidelines:

Students will give presentation on topics related to current and emerging issues in different areas of Jewellery Designing, international & domestic Jewellery, history, gemology, metal study, technology, manufacturing etc.

Students will give a power point presentation and a dissertation report on the given topic.

The students are required to carry forward their project under taken in semester III.
