Fashion Show-‘CREATIONS 15’

 Department: Fashion & Textile Technology

Summary :

Department of Fashion & Textile Technology had organised its 6th Annual Fashion Show “CREATIONS-2015” on 28th Jan 2015 at B.M. Birla Auditorium, Jaipur. A platform was provided to students, emerging models and designers to showcase their talents and gain exposure. In order to boost up their confidence, prizes were given in the following category:

  • Special Jury Award- won by Ms. Neeru Takshak and Ms. Chandrika Mehta (Fashion Designers) for their theme Meraki on Streets
  • Emerging Designer of the Year- won by Ms. Shruti Misra for her theme Ethnic Vibrance
  • Haute Couture-  won by the team of Advance Diploma Students i.e. Ms. Akhya Pandey, Ms. Asha Sharma, Ms. Bhumika Pareek, Ms. Diksha Pareek, Ms. Krati Mehrish, Ms. Rajshree Shekhawat, Ms. Sanskriti Sharma, Ms. Shail Shikha, Ms. Soumya Tiwari, Ms. Shubhangi Pandey (Fashion Designers) and Ms. Mitali Saini, Ms. Priyanka Sahijwani (Jewellery Designers) for their theme Blue Blithe Spirits.
  • Avant Garde- Ms. Siddhi Jain and Ms. Neha Sharma (Fashion Designers) for their theme Starlit Nights

 

The Chief Guest was Shri Jagdeesh Chandra, Head ETV News Network and Guest of Honour for the event were Ms. Srishti Rana, Miss Asia Pacific World, 2013 and Ms. Shriya Kishore, Panaloons Femina Miss India Earth,2009

The show was judged by a panel of judges from the fashion fraternity, they were:

Ms. Sandhya Srinivasan, Faculty, Pearl Academy, Jaipur

Ms.Kiran Lalwani, Alumnae  

 

The students showcased twelve rounds. Eleven rounds were created & presented by the students of Fashion & Textile Technology Department and Sponsored round by Reme, an online fashion & retail store. The rounds were:
