Description:

The  Jewellery Designing Department of IIS( Deemed to be University) participated in the show, themed on 'Emerald... Your Stone Your Story', Jewellery Design Festival ‘2023 (JJS 2023).

IIS deemed to be University,Jaipur exhibited its Jewellery Department’s work and  provided jewellery designing students  the opportunity to showcase their creativity and talent at Grand Platform at JJS2022- Jaipur jewellery show JECC, Sitapura, Jaipur.The 18th edition of JJS  was  held from December 22 to 25 at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre (JECC) at Sitapura. The theme of the 4 day long grand event was ‘Emerald….Timeless Elegance’.

Our Jewellery Designing students Miss YagyaMaheshwari, Miss LakshitaOchani, Miss. AkanshaSagarandMiss NehaSonitoo exhibited their work under the guidance of Dr.Neeru Jain.

Jaipur Jewellery Design Festival ‘2023- India's Largest B2B & B2C Jewellery Show was organised at the  Jaipur Exhibition & Convention Center (JECC), Jaipur from 22th-25th Dec’2023. A Gems and Jewellery Industry Trade Show, the show features selected exhibitors from across the country and hosts buyers under the different categories – Gemstones, Diamond & Gemstone Jewellery, Gold Jewellery, (KundanMeena) Jadau Jewellery, and Silver Jewellery,etc.

Students Interacted with Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, Guest of Honour and Dr.NawaljiAgrawal Director JJS. Mrs. Diya Kumariappreciated growth of jewellery department, our degrees courses bachelor, masters, PhD program and our research work. Shri  Dineshjikhatoria vice chairman, Dr.NawalAgrawal Director and Shri Ajay Kala and  Rajiv Jain,  secretary JJS2023 Jaipur jewellery show  appreciated the students about awareness on environmental issues involving sustainability  and their skills  of utilising waste material in  a creative manner.

Students received the guidance on career options in jewellery industry from Mr. Vijay ChordiyaValantine Jewels, and Mr. Abhishek RaniwalaRaniwallajewels, aresuccessful women entrepreneur with rich experience in Jewellery and Design.

PrernaMakhariaa, the First Jewellery Influencer of India, selected jewellery designed by our students.She appreciated  students. Her support Indianjewellerydesigners initiative is to promote budding talent and designers and provide them with a platform to showcase their creativity through her online presence. 

It was a great opportunity to celebrate and promote designers through organising JJS- Jaipur Jewellery Design Festival (JJDF) 2023 which emphasised on global prospect of jewellery design. The aim of the interface is to expose student designers to remarkable individuals and their path-breaking experiences in their respective design domains, endeavors to create an international design network for contemporary Jewellery design. The students got the opportunity to envision and explore trends and cross-industry shifts in the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the Jewellery Design World and also to remain a presentable with current jewellery design thought through the art gallery. It also helped in the development of cultural, business and professional awareness as well as communication skills among the students.  The students left inspired to think more out of the box and to see their career from a different point of view. The event proved to be a great learning platform for the students.

  • The students got the opportunity to interact with eminent jewellers
  • The students explored trends of the Jewellery Design World
