The objective of the Event:

  • To introduce the students to the technology and several practical operations involved in the jewellery creation process.

 

Description:

An industrial visit to AmrapaliJewels  was organized for the students of B.Sc. Jewellery Design & technology, B.A./B.Com. /B.Sc. Jewellery Design & technology, Diploma Jewellery Designing, Masters Jewellery Designing on 30/09/2022, Saturday.

 

AmrapaliJewels, is a Jewellery house founded in 1978 by Rajiv Arora and Rajesh Ajmera in Jaipur. Amprapali designs, produces and distributes tribal, fine and uncut gemstones Jewellery. The brand has stores in India and London. Amrapali Design Studio &Amrapali Exports cater to domestic and international markets respectively. Manufacturing handcrafted Jewellery for leading international stores and designers, the workshops have installed allproductions in houses as per international standards.based in the city Jaipur, Amrapali offers a wide range of bespoke Jewellery as per buyers specification in precious and non-precious metals. With the capacity of more than a thousandscraftsmen, manufacturing units are equipped with modern machinery, well-trained personnel, and absolute dedication to perfection.

The entire production process is carried out in a factory with 150 workers and a team of experienced, talented, and creative designers, fully equipped with the latest machineries and equipments, located in a Special Economic Zone  ,the entire production process starting from designinguntil the final polish is done in-house. Company manufactures all type of Jewellery in gold, silver, copper and brass to cater to the needs of all kind of costumers. They had manufactured jeweler for various Indian movies including Bhaubali. Necklaces, bracelets, pendants, earrings, rings, cufflinks, and other ornaments are among the company's excellent gold and silver jewellery.

The objective of this visit was to introduce the students to the technology and several practical operations involved in the jewellery creation process. They learned about the many processes involved in the creation of jewellery.

Mr. Manish Saini, Production Manager, briefed the students about the manufacturing process of Casting and Handmade Jewellery. They also provided knowledge about latest technologies in jewellery industry and blessed them for their lucrative career.

 

Outcome of the event:

The visit proved to be beneficial exercise for all the students as it was completely knowledgeable for future perspective.
