Department of Jewellery Designing organized a visit to JAS14, the Jewellery exhibition for students of Bsc. Jewellery design & Technology, Jewellery designing Certificate & Diploma Course on :   25/8/14

 

JEWELLERS ASSOCIATION SHOW, JAIPUR (JAS ’14) was an extraordinary jewellery show which is organized annually by the eminent jewellers of Jaipur and it has created a ripple effect in the jewellery world. The Tenth edition of India's most prominent Color Stone & Jewellery Show i.e. Jewellers association Show (JAS14) was held from 22nd  Aug to 25th  Aug 2015. The venue was the beautiful jecc, Sitapura, Jaipur. Show is being organized in the heartland of precious/semi-precious jewellery & hub of color stones, to get the best bargain & new designs made by artisans. It is the best window to showcase Coloured Gemstones, Certified Diamonds, Gemstone studded Jewellery, Plain Gold Jewellery, Diamond Jewellery, Kundan- Meena Jewellery,Thewa, Sozo Jewellery, Color stone Jewellery, Studded Traditional Jewellery, Contemporary & Fusion Jewellery, Silver Jewellery, Studded Handcrafted Jewellery, Platinum Jewellery, Machinery & Tools, Trade Publications, Designer Jewellery and Accessories.

 

In the exhibition students came to know about International and Indian manufacturers, unique opportunity for market expansion at a low cost. Exhibition provides a platform to students to know about the latest trends and to show their unique creations to the fraternity. It also inspires them to establish their own jewellery empire. The show proved to be mega success by being a platform for Jewellery designers, Students, Jewellers & Gemstone manufacturers, retailers, artisans and exporters to interact, network, source the latest designs and enhance their knowledge as well as extend their business prospects.

Dr. Neeru jain, Head of Jewellery Designing deptt. supported a lot and enhanced the knowledge of students and made them aware about different kind of jewellery and material and gem stones involved in making of jewellery.

This visit provided our students a lot of idea for recent designing process. Such types of exhibitions are an inspiration for the students to enhance their ability and career.
