First Jewellery manufacturing process starts with jewellery designing. After finalization of design, design is converted into 3D view by JCAD department. After this design is converted into a wax model that in turn can be made into gold, platinum or silver studded jewellery. Hand motors and other mechanized appliances are used to give better finishing to the model.
Conversion of silver model into a mould is done by special type of rubber by Castaldo. The mould is put into a vulcanizer and treated at 302°F, and baked. This model is sandwiched between rubber pieces and then cut into pieces.
Production of the wax replica of a model is done by fixing the mould into a vacuums wax injector, which is a Japanese machine “Yasui”.
The wax tree created in wax injector is then casted in gold platinum in a specified cartage and kept in a perforated flask with a special type of powder (plaster of paris). The flask is baked in a furnace and then casted into gold by Yasui then shine is given to metal pieces of gold or platinum.
After this metal stripping is done by putting the casted pieces into a electro-polishing machine, the first of its kind in this region called PikaGold by Yasui. The rough outer coat is stripped of providing a glossy finish.
An updated laser-soldering machine helps in making links, loops for the bracelets or pendants. They are the only company in Rajasthan to have such advanced laser guns -Mieko Jr.
Final step is the setting of the stone to its perfection and then polishing the jewellery. For polishing a motor with the speed of 8000 rotation per minutes and special cloth buffs. Rouges are applied to give mirror finishing.
Now the polished items reach our most important department that is Quality assurance whether product visualized through a 10 X Loupe.
