Objective: 
  1. To enhance the creative skills in  sketching and rendering for designing garments
  2. Introduce the concept of spec sheets and source fabric accordingly
     

   CONTENT

  • Illustrating garment details with flat sketches                                10hrs
  • Style reading for various types of garments                                   10 hrs
  • Designing theme based garments                                                30 hrs

Illustrating garments on themes like culture, environment, historical monuments,  season, signs & symbols, flora & fauna, fusion, traditional embroideries, fabric, festivals, college wear, office wear, bridal wear, etc.(Atleast 4)

       Appreciation of any five Indian fashion designers- Collecting & illustrating brief    history of their work, the famous & celebrated designs collection and shows of these designers. Students will make two illustration based on haute couture of these fashion designer.
