Objective: 

1. To impart understanding of different media of application- printing (stencil, block) and special finishes.

2. To equip the students with technical skills of designing competency for different media of application.

3. To develop a professional approach towards the thematic designing for textiles.

1. a.) Product Development conceptualizing theme board/mood board, interpreting theme board in line with element of design.                                                                 25 hrs

    b.)Develop product  range on selected theme for each of the following and develop any one from the following range :                                                                         35 hrs 

  • Furnishing for office purpose (sheer, curtain, carpet, upholstery, cushion covers, mats etc)
  • Home furnishing (Curtain, Bedsheets, Pillow covers, floor covering, quilt etc)

2. Introduction to Arah Paint : Introduction, Basic and Drawing operations, Working with color and contours, Using layers, Transfer tool and brushes,Inserting test and drawing in repeat, Using filters                                                                                        25 hrs

3. Introduction to Arhane weave: Introduction, working with files, viewing the fabric editing basic weave.                                                                                       35 hrs
