Objective: 

1. Gain in-depth knowledge of basics of Coral and Photoshop.

2. Enable students to understand application of design in textiles.

  • Different Colour ways and colour schemes for curtains, bed sheets, bed covers and upholstery according to Textile Forecast.                           15 hrs
  • Design suitable fabrics for household such as denim, satin, organza, chiffon, georgette, crepe, velvet, corduroy, silk, knits and loosely woven fabrics.                                                                                            30 hrs
  • Develop and create designs for prints i.e. Toile Print, Graphic Print, Conversational Print, Liberty Prints, Nautical Prints, Ethnic Prints, Folklore Prints.                                                                                             30 hrs
  • Thematic approach to design : Preparation of theme board – depicting colour story and texture indication for fabric yardage for apparel, household textiles and textiles accessories.                                                                  25 hrs
  • Developing a product range using the knowledge learnt by using any material craft and creative textiles.                                                                 20 hrs
