  • Role and function of  dyeing auxiliaries- Exhausting agents, Wetting agents, Carriers, pH regulators, swelling agents used in dyeing.
  • Theory of dyeing-
    1. Role of -dye molecules, Water, temperature
    2. Various terms frequently involved in dyeing- affinity/substantivity, concept of shade percentage, MLR ( material to liquor ratio), OWG (on weight of gods), OVL(on volume of liquor.
