The Jewellery Designing Department hosted a guest lecture titled "Crafting Excellence: Manual Jewellery Design Techniques" on August 28th, 2024, from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM. The session was led by Ms. Pooja Agarwal, faculty at Gurukul institute of designing
Ms. Agarwal began her presentation with a detailed overview of manual jewellery design, emphasizing the artistry and precision involved in traditional techniques. She shared her extensive knowledge and practical experience, focusing on the craftsmanship required to produce exquisite jewellery by hand.

Throughout the lecture, Ms. Agarwal engaged the students with practical demonstrations, including sketching techniques and stone setting. She encouraged hands-on practice and provided guidance on refining technical skills to achieve professional quality results.
The students, including those from M.A./M.Com./MSc. Jewellery Design and BSc. Jewellery Design & Technology, participated actively in the session. They had the opportunity to practice the techniques demonstrated by Ms. Agarwal and sought advice on their individual designs.
