Guest Lecture on Import Export Policies

A guest Lecture was organized by the Jewellery Designing Department on “Import Export Policies” on 03^rd Feb, 2018.  Ms Bhumi Kalra ( Faculty IIIEM, Ahmadabad) delivered her lecture on Jewellery Import Export Policies to provide students with the knowledge regarding the export and import policy and incentives that are produced to the exporters.

In the beginning session Students were given knowledge of how Indian export/import system works and what are the opportunities they can go for. They were detailed on how they can sell goods and Gem& Jewellery by involving banks to secure their payments. The talk highlighted the procedure of obtaining the import export license and the various documents necessary for obtaining the license.

The purpose of this lecture was to make aware students   about export and import opportunities, export and import policy in terms of gem and jewellery and incentives that are produced to the exporters.  She answered different queries after the lecture. This was an informative experience for the students of Jewellery Designing.
