Objective: 

This aims to encourage the pursuit of innovation, achieved through application and development of practical skills. This paper aims to enhance skills by maintaining a fine balance between art and making.
It also introduces students to basic design concepts, visualization techniques, manipulation of materials and techniques of interpretation, leading to creation of costume jewelry and accessories in various materials and traditional craft styles.
 

A) Illustration  and construction of following accessories in various materials/ traditional craft styles

  • Jewellery                                                                                                   15 hrs

  • Belts                                                                                                          10 hrs

 

  • Footwear                                                                                                   10 hrs

 

  • Handbags                                                                                                  15 hrs

 

  • Bows and ties on different dresses                                                           10 hrs

  • Scarves                                                                                                      10 hrs

 

B) Develop a portfolio and range of articles by illustrating and developing the accessories according to the theme develop in BFT 406                                     . 15 hrs

 

C) Collage Work- Collage on the above mentioned accessories                           10 hrs
